Sable was spotted off the coast of Virginia beach on Tuesday, May 10, according to a Tweet from OCEARCH.
The shark was first tagged in off West Ironbound Island in Nova Scotia last September. Since then, Sable has travelled over 5,000 miles, the organized said.
Sable is the 76th shark to be sampled, tagged and released by OCEARCH's Northwest Atlantic White Shark Study. She is also the third of their Expedition Nova Scotia 2021.
